Tammy Nguyen, LMHCA

Therapist

Tammy holds a Master of Arts in Education (MAEd) in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Seattle University and is fully trained in EMDR.

Tammy believes in the power of inner wisdom and the healing potential of reconnection - with oneself, with others, and with the body. Tammy strives to create a space where clients feel emotionally and physically, honored in their full complexity, and supported in making contact with their truth - without self-abandonment. Her approach is trauma-informed and experiential, drawing from EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Experiencing, and Polyvagal Theory.

Tammy identifies as a Vietnamese-American, cis-gender woman, heterosexual, able-bodied, neurodivergent, and Buddhist.

Outside of her clinical work, Tammy enjoys playing volleyball, practicing yoga, and spending quality time with loved ones.
