As an organization and as individual clinicians, Seattle EMDR Associates is dedicated to continuing the work of undoing anti-fat bias in our communities and in our work with clients. If you are curious about what anti-fat bias is and how it operates in our community, below are some resources that we have found helpful in our own journeys as we continue to learn and work towards fat liberation. Some of these resources are aimed at understanding the impact and prevalence of systemic anti-fat bias, while others are aimed at individuals looking to undo the impacts of anti-fat bias, white supremacy, and diet culture in their own lives. If you have any resources on this topic that have been meaningful to you, we would welcome your input.
