Kali Shilvock, MA LMFTA

Therapist

Kali is fully trained in EMDR and is working toward certification. She has a Master of Arts in Couple and Family Therapy and Sex Therapy Certificate from Antioch University Seattle, and is also a RYT-500 Hour Registered Yoga Instructor. Kali works with adult individuals and couples/polycules on issues and goals related to navigating inter- and intrapersonal distress, relationship communication and skill-building, sex and sexuality, trauma, and deconstructing limiting beliefs and internalized narratives. Central to her work is the intention to foster an environment that is non-judgmental, affirming, and safe for reflection, discussion, and expression.

Kali loves helping her clients discover what inhibits and promotes deeper connections to others and to themselves. She is passionate about supporting clients in their work to deconstruct internalized cognitive/emotional baggage and to provide them with a safe container for creating more affirming, empowering lenses through which they can experience their inner worlds and relationships with others. When working with Kali, you can expect a dynamic, co- constructed therapy experience in which we collaboratively work toward your goals.

Outside of her therapy work, Kali loves all things movement-related; she teaches several different types of group fitness classes and spends as much time as she can hiking and trail-running! She is also a “nester” and loves all things cozy (warm beverages, books, quality time with loved ones, and cat cuddles with her two cats, Bijou and Noodle). Other interests include music, cooking, and making salves/herbal infusions/magic potions.

Kali is a cisgender, able-bodied, multiracial woman who identifies as Filipino-American. She is US-born and non-indigenous. Kali also identifies as pansexual, liberal, and spiritual with no religious affiliation.

Kali sees folks online and in our Seattle office. She’s in network with First Choice, Premera, Lifewise, Anthem, and other BCBS plans (out of network with Regence).
