EMDR Therapy, Psychotherapy, Counseling and Consultation. Comptetent and Compassionate Care to help you with Anxiety, Depression, PTSD or whatever you are struggling with.
Jodi (she/her) graduated with a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Antioch University Seattle. She is currently training in and working towards certification in SAFE (somatic-attachment focused) EMDR.
Jodi integrates a holistic counseling approach in which she strives to create opportunities for healing and growth. She believes in empathetic listening, acceptance, and support to collaboratively work with the individual toward their own goals. She incorporates trauma-informed approaches from somatic, attachment, feminist, and person-centered theories into her work with EMDR. Her hope is to aid clients toward mental liberation through the use of mindfulness, self-compassion, empowerment, and education.
Jodi works throughout the spectrum of ages, from young (18+) to older adults, and with all genders. She has experience with trauma, including sexual assault and childhood neglect, anxiety, depression, suicidal-ideation, life transitions, and relationship issues.
Outside of the therapeutic space, Jodi enjoys a slow approach to the outdoors, where she is likely to be seen on a trail or near water spaces, soaking in the PNW scenery with her senior dog. She also enjoys reading, the internet, and laughing until she can’t breathe.
Jodi identifies as a neurodivergent, queer, cisgender, mostly able-bodied, elder millennial, non-indigenous, white, US-born woman.
She sees clients in person at our Federal Way location and online.
Jodi is in network with First Choice, Kaiser PPO, Premera, Lifewise, Anthem, and other Blue Cross plans (out of network with Regence).
