EMDR Therapy, Psychotherapy, Counseling and Consultation. Comptetent and Compassionate Care to help you with Anxiety, Depression, PTSD or whatever you are struggling with.
Erin is a current intern, training in EMDR and working towards certification. Erin is pursuing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Seattle University, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Rochester. She holds several years’ experience in the field of mental health, working with individuals from all walks of life as a group facilitator and passionate advocate across the residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient levels of care.
Erin believes that we all find the capacity to grow, change, and discover a sense of purpose through the meaningful connections we build with others and all that we take part in. She aims to provide an authentic, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space in which to work collaboratively to explore and make sense of the things that matter most to you, recognizing that every individual carries with them a multitude of stories, identities, and ways of knowing that hold inherent value. She believes that strength and freedom can be found when individuals come together in untangling the impacts of interpersonal, institutional, and internalized oppression on their lived experiences, and begin to move through the world in new ways—together. Erin’s hope is to partner with you in understanding all that makes you the person that you are today, and all that you hope to create and bring with you into the future.
Some of the identities Erin holds include white, queer, cisgender woman, presently able-bodied, US-born, and non-indigenous. She also identifies as young, partnered, middle-class, and is currently exploring her own spirituality.
She finds time outside of her work to spend birdwatching (ask her about Merlin), hiking, making massive playlists, watching video essays (more fun than it sounds!), seeking sunsets, and trying to find the best pasta in the city.
Erin sees clients in-person at our Seattle office, as well as online, at sliding scale rates from $40 - $80 per session.
