Alex Sprinkle

Alex is trained in EMDR and working toward their certification. Alex obtained their Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Seattle University and holds a bachelor’s degree in both Psychology and Religion from Emory & Henry University. Their therapeutic orientation is holistic and creative and they work from a person-centered framework. Alex enjoys incorporating somatic exercises into their sessions and helping others gain a fuller understanding of how to work with their nervous system and move toward healing together. With a diverse background in behavioral and mental health, Alex looks forward to crafting a personalized plan in assisting the client’s journey to a place of acceptance and empowerment.

Kindness, compassion, and authenticity are cornerstones in Alex’s approach to therapy. They believe that growth comes from a variety of experiences and that meaning-making is derived from contextually-informed interpretations of those experiences. Alex offers an empathetic space to explore which deeper meanings are informing your everyday experience and to address any barriers that are showing up for you. They are particularly passionate about working with others in the queer and trans community, folks experiencing chronic illness, and neurodivergent populations. 

In their free time, Alex enjoys long walks, existing near or in bodies of water, making music, paper-mache, hand-sewing, and riding their bike. 

Alex is in network with First Choice, Kaiser PPO, Premera, Lifewise, Anthem, and other Blue Cross plans (out of network with Regence).

Alex identifies as Gen Z, transmasculine non-binary, queer, white, Appalachian, and spiritual.
