Alex Sprinkle

Intern Therapist

Alex is working towards their Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Seattle University and is currently an intern, training in EMDR and working toward certification. Alex holds a bachelor’s degree in both Psychology and Religion from Emory & Henry University. Their therapeutic orientation is holistic and existentialist, focusing on taking a creative, person-centered approach.

Alex has a diverse background in behavioral and mental health that has guided the values they hold in therapeutic spaces. Kindness, compassion, and authenticity are cornerstones in Alex’s approach to therapy. They believe that growth comes from a variety of experiences and that meaning making is derived from the stories that we’re told of those experiences and the systems we’re a part of. Alex offers an empathetic space to explore how deeper meanings inform your everyday experience and to explore the barriers that are showing up for you.

In their free time, Alex enjoys long, aimless walks, making folk-inspired music, restorative yoga, and engaging in various crafting projects such as zine-making, collaging, and the occasional oven-bake clay endeavor. Alex also enjoys quality time with their friends and their cat, Pablo, who is a very chatty little guy.

Some identities that Alex holds include non-binary, queer, white, Appalachian, and spiritual.

They see clients online and in our Seattle office at sliding scale rates from $40 - $80 per session.
